At all. So for a start, we're more highly evolved than the other types.
For another thing, we're front left lobe dominant, and researchers have found that a lifetime spent meditating (in the zen tradition), develops the front left lobe of the brain!
So we're also more enlightened.
I once again call for the enslavement of all SJ types, they must be brought into captivity and made to do our bidding. For the benefit of everyone, including them.
Oh and I've just found out President Bush is an ESTJ. Nuff said. |

I wonder if those people who just chatter on mindlessly about anything, everything. I wonder if they analyse all the crap they came out with? I guess they're oblivious. It's normal to them. They say that those who speak the most have the least to say. |

Anyone who is not a form of INFP - or lightly MAD, may not appreciate the cool intrinsic nature of thoughtful integrity. Maybe that is why i adhere to a code of hermit-ness. Seems safer. My son is the same way, and I've told him that it's OK to take a time out and get away from other kids to recharge when he needs to. It has made him a lot happier. |

| | Anndaluz | Jan 14, 7:19pm | When I first saw my Myers Briggs results I thought "Shit!" Let's face it our distinctive attributes aren't particularly valued; you find you're INFP and the personality description just screams 'Loser'. So it's great that thejoyofrex has gone on the attack here.
I'm reassured that others feel drained by loud mindless environments. Why should I feel bad about about not being my best in such a situation? Also, my allergy to the compulsion to simplify and classify just for the sake of it. Where some see a box to be ticked yes or no we see 3D full colour movies.
Our reflective tendencies and clear sense of what really matters makes us the best type at coping with emergencies. We know what needs to be done. I remember seeing a TV programme about firefighters: they said that they did not have the time to think and "make decisions" about the complex situations they faced; their reactions were based on a fastforward series of images of previous fires. Sounds rather INFP to me. |
