Only A small fraction of the population are much like there Sun sign. Why is this?
Early 1900s a news paper wanted to make money off of astrology by placing horoscopes with in. The only way it could work for the average person was to base it on the sun sign because any one can calculate it with little effort or thought. This event popularized the sun sign.
Before this event, astrology looked more towards the ascendant and moon signs to get a picture of the person. It's much more difficult to calculate these aspects. You would need an ephemeris book to look it up. |
